Love lures. Blood binds. And no one leaves unclaimed.
Secrets fester behind every smile in Mirafail, where Maeve Keeling knows every lurking shadow—until people start to disappear. Customers at her family’s restaurant fall mysteriously ill. Those who recover vanish without a trace. Whispers turn to accusations, and the town she loves now watches her with suspicion.
Then he arrives.
Dante Trevil is as intoxicating as the wine Maeve adores—and just as dangerous. His presence is no coincidence. Mirafail’s finest casks have been tainted with a dark promise—one sip, and the town will belong to Dante’s sire.
Despite his desire to stop this plague, the blood bond that shackles Dante to his master has made him complicit in the town’s slow death. Every bottle poured is another sin on his soul. Every glance from Maeve, another crack in his resolve.
The last and deadliest cask will be uncorked at the Fall Masquerade Ball.
If Dante fails, Mirafail will fall. If Maeve can’t uncover the truth in time, she will too. Trust is a gamble, love is a weapon, and the final toast may be everyone’s last.
A dark gothic romance inspired by The Cask of Amontillado and The Masque of the Red Death, this haunting tale is perfect for fans of Gothikana by RuNyx and Eve Silver’s Dark Gothic series.

GOOD Based on 256 reviews Summer R.2025-04-08Verified Finally!! It seems like forever since I’ve found a new book/author that I adored! I’ve been re-reading my favorite books for months now because I’ve been so disappointed in any new ones I’ve tried. This story, however, has broken that streak of frustration! Would highly recommend!! Carol Craft2025-03-07Verified Claiming the Dhampir: Book3 (The Last Dhampir) Very good read! I enjoyed every aspect of this book. Nothing like having a Werewolf, Vampire, Deamon and a Fae for lovers! This whole series was really good and I would recommend it to other supernatural book lovers! Kindle Customer2025-02-28Verified Great series! Excellent! Love the characters and the plot. Sat down and read all three books!!! I look forward to see what happens next. BookishDanDan2024-08-22Verified Good Very good addition to this series, but it really didn't feel like the end. I felt like there was so much we didn't get to see from all the characters or spend enough time getting to know them and their pasts. I love the dynamics between the characters and the way they depend on each other. Really good book and writing overall. Nikki2024-08-16Verified Great This book made me laugh. I just love the banter between Lorna and Mir. I love all things magic and supernatural and this had it all. It also left it open for more books in that world without leaving on a cliffhanger. I really do hope we get to read Lucifer's story next. Bbqpork2042024-08-11Verified Wonderful story I really enjoyed this trilogy and all the characters, plot, and world building.I will be reading more from this author and hoping to see more from this world. MoonLit Inksights2024-07-23Verified The End! This was a really intriguing storyline and was kind of a nice break from the predictability of some. The dhampir concept was new for me and not a paranormal creature I'd read about before. This is a why choose romance so be aware of that as you read. Each book is actually a quick read. There's a lot of story in each for averaging 200 pages. Lorna grows a lot as a character from book one when she didn't know what she was to book three and claiming her own identity and being claimed by her hunky men. I think there's room for a spin off series to happen with supporting characters and it would be nice to see Lorna and he guys again, especially Mir. Amber2024-07-21Verified Great ending to the trilogy Lorna and the guys finally learn more about Dhampirs and what really happened to them all those years ago. We also see more of the Fae realm and the underworld.Lorna also claims Elliot and Nathan, so now her heart is full. The guys all learn to love her and not get jealous.
